Hey Folks! I am officially introducing myself to you! I am Sarah, and behind me in the canoe are Raylah (9), Dean (7) and my hubby Eric. We have co-owned Lucky Bend Lookout vacation rental for the past 8 years with our friends the Martins.
Eric and I have had our blog Sonoma Family Adventures for the past few years. We love to get outside and go on adventures like backpacking, hiking, biking, canoeing, & skiing. I really enjoy sharing our adventures with you and I hope to inspire you to get outside and enjoy Sonoma County with your family. It’s not always easy to get the kids out but it is always worth the effort! One of my goals is to be an expert on fun things to do in west Sonoma County so if you have any questions about where to go and what to do when you are there then I am happy to help! Feel free to call me at 415-516-6961.

Why We Chose Guerneville
Both families were looking for a place where they could give their children the gift of growing up in nature. Guenerville is a such a great little town with all the necessary neighborhood services and has a food scene that is way above it’s small town size. There are so many activities nearby that it makes a perfect home base for exploring all that Sonoma County has to offer. When we found this house, our friends said, ‘This place is like a unicorn!’ It is like no other house in the area with its beautiful location and authentic mid-century modern architecture. We look forward to enjoying the river with our families over the years and we want to share the fun with other families when we cannot be there.

Why We Chose this House
When we first saw this home we knew it was special. With the river just a few yards away, an open floor plan, the large glass expanse on the south side of the house and the exposed structural system, it all comes together in a perfect harmony. As soon as you arrive you smell the fresh clean air and feel the stress melt away and time seems to slow down a bit. We always return to the city with renewed spirits after visiting.
